Mirror Of Justice Foundation operates a transitional home for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). Mirror Of Justice Homes is dedicated to promoting the welfare of vulnerable young children, ensuring their wishes and feelings are respected as outlined in the Children’s Act 1989 and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Established from a deep passion to eliminate the stigma and limitations faced by orphans and vulnerable children, Mirror Of Justice Home strives to create an inclusive environment that provides these children with a sense of belonging and opportunity. The vision of Mirror Of Justice Home is “where every child matters.” We focus on rehabilitating, transforming, and integrating young lives into society, providing a nurturing environment essential for their growth.
The following supports are provided in our family-oriented environment: Protection Food and nutrition Shelter Medical care Educational and psycho-social support In addition to our residential care, Mirror Of Justice Foundation works with various governmental and security agencies, community-based organizations (CBOs), and child-centered networks such as the Association for Orphans and Vulnerable NGOs (AOVN), Association of Orphanages and Home Operators (ASOHO), and Child Protection Network (CPN). These partnerships help us deliver services based on best practices in a child-friendly and family-oriented environment, both in our shelter (Mirror Of Justice Home) and the wider community. The foundation currently supports 26 children: Ten teenagers (2 males and 8 females) are enrolled in higher education institutions, where they receive full nutritional and educational support. We track their progress to ensure both academic and personal development. Sixteen children (6 males and 10 females) live at Mirror Of Justice Home. Our goal is to reintegrate them with Foster families once they achieve financial and emotional stability. In addition to residential care, the foundation extends support to the wider community: Six primary school students receive support while remaining with their families. Ten university students benefit from our scholarship program. Three orphanages receive ongoing assistance. Ten widows participate in our empowerment programs. Ten households receive various forms of aid. Through these efforts, Mirror Of Justice Foundation aims to create a more supportive and equitable environment for orphans and vulnerable children, enhancing their opportunities for a brighter future.
Together, we can touch more lives; we can be the hope of that one child that could become a menace to the society without a timely intervention to provide care, education and empowerment
The Mirror Of Justice Kids Club initiative was borne out of our desire to ensure children in the community are balanced psychosocially.
